Baldwins Crane Rental was operating a manual, paper-based rental procedure. Each week, depots would send handwritten rental contracts to Head Office for rekeying into Sage to create an invoice. The rental contract could only be confirmed once the credit-control had been performed in Sage. This proved to be a slow and time-consuming process inhibiting company growth.

Baldwins needed to invest in an automated rental management system that would save time, provide a high level of credit control, and could link seamlessly to Sage.
