National Pile Croppers, a small plant hire company specialising in concrete pile reduction, required software to manage the growth of its rental business. Previously, the company had been using spreadsheets and paper, a system that had become unmanageable. As the company had been using a paper-based system for years, they were concerned about how to get staff to adopt a new computer-based system.

Transport Mobile & Documentation

The integration of our equipment with the resource planner and the delivery drivers' mobile devices is seamless. Our aim of becoming paperless is now almost complete. Drivers can obtain customer signatures and delivery photos in real-time and this information is then instantly available on the MCS platform for onward sharing.

Workshop

There are over 1000 items of equipment in our fleet spread across 4 depots, each needing its own maintenance schedule. The Workshop feature in MCS allows us to keep control of our fleet ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the equipment is carried out on time. Additionally, engineering and LOLER certifications are included, giving customers the assurance that the equipment they receive is fit for purpose.
