The Challenge

Before implementing MCS-rm, Solomat had a Unix-based rental solution, but its user interface was difficult to navigate and users had to switch between many screens to carry out simple administrative tasks. The IT team decided it was time for a change. Solomat wanted a new solution that was easy to use and had a similar look and feel to its other Windows-based applications. Also, Solomat was looking for a system that it could adapt to some of its specific working practices such as charging for the entire construction project, as well as the rental equipment.

Solomat quickly decided that MCS-rm was the best match for its requirements. Over 50 users now use MCS-rm across 13 different sites allowing them to process hundreds of rental requests for operated and non-operated equipment daily.
