Rental software provider MCS has launched its new mobile app, ‘Resource Mobile,’ now available on iOS and Android.
The MCS Resource Mobile app allows drivers to complete their tasks via a mobile app, giving instant feedback to rental managers in the back office. The new app has been revamped, giving MCS users better tracking of where resources are during the day. Rental managers now know when a job has been started and can keep track of job progress, including when their resources are actively driving or when they have arrived on site. Josh Lewis, President of MCS Rental Software Inc., explains,
“The new Resource Mobile app has instant benefits, just from the fact that it is now available on both iOS and Android devices, but the huge benefit comes from the additional visibility of resources on the road. The new app also includes several additional features that help to smooth the rental process, including customized checklists and the ability to send SMS text message alerts to customers to let them know when a driver or technician is on their way. Josh continues,
